  • Stephanie Plybon

    Stephanie joined the Davis-Stuart family in October 2006 as Director of Quality Assurance. She attended Concord University where she was a member of the A∑A sorority. She graduated in 1994 with her Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Stephanie also earned her Master’s in Counseling from Marshall University. The aspects of her job that Stephanie likes most are her co-workers and the family-type atmosphere. The care and genuine concern for both the residents and staff is what she feels sets us apart in this industry.

    Due to her outstanding work, Stephanie was awarded the 2017 Spirit of the Alliance award at the annual Alliance for Children conference in Charleston, WV.
  • Mark Falls

    Mark Falls joined the Davis-Stuart family in August 2008 as a Weekend Child Care Worker. In 2011 he earned his associate degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix and the following year, Mark earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Service and Management. Mark lives in Second Creek with his wife, Amanda and their three children. Being able to work with a great group of people and using our knowledge and skills to help our youth is what Mark loves most about his job.

  • Lindsey Fleming

    Lindsey Fleming is a native of Greenbrier County and joined the Davis-Stuart family in May 2014. In 2004, Lindsey graduated from Glenville State College earning her Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Sociology with a minor in Management. In addition to her degrees, Lindsey was a member of the honors program at Glenville State College. What Lindsey likes most about her job is the ability to have more direct impact on the services and daily aspect of youth in state's custody. In addition, the loving, nurturing, and family oriented treatment facility is what she feels sets Davis-Stuart apart from others like us.

  • Amanda Scott

    Director of Marketing and Development

    Amanda Scott graduated from Fairmont State University in 2011 receiving her Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. In that same year, she received her Events Management certification from Pierpont Community and Technical College. Since joining the Davis-Stuart family in 2013, she says that the best thing about her job is traveling, planning & organizing and working for the greater good. Amanda feels that our sprawling 574 acre campus is what sets us apart in the state, immersing residents in a therapeutic environment that allows for new and exciting experiences.

  • Matt Evans

    Spiritual Life Director

    Matt Evans grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina and graduated from Central Bible College in 2006 earning his degree in Pastoral Counseling. That same year, he also volunteered with Celebrate Recovery. Matt joined the Davis-Stuart family in February 2012 starting out as Assistant Spiritual Life Director. In March 2013 he was promoted to Spiritual Life Director. Matt says what sets us apart is “Our vision statement, our focus on physical, emotional, and spiritual needs through programs like Culinary Arts, Archery, Equine Therapy, African Drumming, and our Spiritual Life Program.” Matt says that meeting each resident when they arrive at Davis-Stuart and seeing how much growth and change takes place while they’re here is what he likes most about his job. 

    Because of his dedication to the betterment of West Virginia's children, Matt was awarded the 2016 Spirit of the Alliance award at the annual Alliance for Children Conference in Charleston, WV.
  • Debra Ballard

    Director of Nursing

    Debra has been employed with Davis-Stuart since 2005 when she began her employment as a Staff LPN and in 2012 became a Staff RN for the agency. She has degrees from Summers County School of Practical Nursing, New River Community and Technical College, and Dabney Lancaster Community College. In 2015, Debra transitioned into the position of Director of Nursing. Debra says the thing she likes most about her job is "Every day is a new day and the medical department has to be ready for anything and think outside the box because most of our residents have been denied good medical care." Debra lives in Alderson with her husband David. She has three children, 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
